FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WILL THE ROVER NEED TO BE REGISTERED?

If you plan to motorize your Rover, then the answer is Yes. Rover will come with all the necessary paperwork to register it at your local DMV or similar authority.

WHAT SIZE MOTOR CAN I PUT ON IT?

The recommended size of motor is a 6HP or 9.9HP short shaft (15") outboard engine. BOTE offers two power options, the Hidea 6HP outboard motor and the Hidea 9.9HP motor.

HOW MANY PEOPLE WILL THE ROVER HOLD?

The Rover was built to be a one person watercraft. However, if your total weight is low enough, Rover can accommodate another rider with proper safety equipment.

SHIPPING: ALL HARD BOARD PURCHASES ARE PICK-UP ONLY.  Sadly, there have been too many instances of freight deliveries with severe damage for us to consider said option.  We are happy to set your board aside, marked SOLD, available for pick-up at your leisure - wether that be same-day or next month.
