Enjoy Chattanooga has few have before, from paddleboard, kayak or tandem kayak! Circle up to and around Maclellan Island with your tour guide and other adventurers taking in stunning views of the Hunter Museum Bluffs, our famous four bridges and a beautiful sunset. There are opportunities to climb the bluffs, do a little swimming on the island's beaches and slack-line on the front pier! Our guides are more than happy to also take photos of you at sunset, typically parked at the tip of the island.
Tours are $45 per person. Adults and children are welcome to double up on crafts. Sunset tour tickets are sold on a per-person basis. If looking to double up on a paddleboard, further payment may be completed in store.
Our paddleboards have weight capacities between 250-315lbs. Single Kayaks up to 250lbs. Tandem kayaks up to 500lbs. All children under the age of 13 must be on a craft with an adult. Paddleboards & Single Kayaks are best for single paddlers, but can accommodate one adult + one small child or dog. Tandem Kayaks are best for two paddlers, but can accommodate two adults + one small child or dog.

Tours leave the boat ramp at their scheduled time, sharp**, on Friday and Saturday nights throughout rental season, May-October. The tour is roughly 1.5 to 2 hours long depending on the group and paddling experience. Arrive at our 100 River Street Street launch site, in Coolidge Park underneath Market St Bridge to sign waivers and receive instruction (do not arrive later than 30 minutes before launch). Arrive early because you may encounter heavy traffic when trying to find a parking spot, especially on weekend nights.
**Late arrivals will be left behind. We know, it's a bummer. Don't say we didn't warn you.
Come prepared to get a bit wet from either the splash of your paddle or a fall in the water. Dress for the weather. Light weight, synthetic, or beach wear is best. We recommend water shoes or sandals because there are rocks at the launch dock, but you're welcome to go barefoot. Stay hydrated and be sure to get lots of incredible photos!

What to Wear/Bring1.) Sunscreen, towels, water proof bags and bottled water are all available for purchase in the shop. 2.) Credit card or cash if you have not already paid online. 3.) Great photo opportunities, consider bringing a camera or GoPro. 4.) Please leave valuables at home, the hotel, or in your car.

Meeting Location
This tour meets at our launch site located at 100 River Street Chattanooga, TN 37405. Please park in Coolidge Park or Renaissance Park (allow ample time to find a parking spot). Weekends will prove to be more difficult, but Coolidge Park is a great place to shop, relax, or play games before your scheduled tour.
Important Details
Please arrive at our launch site at 100 River Street (in Coolidge Park, underneath Market St Bridge) 30 minutes prior to your scheduled rental time to check in and sign a waiver, if not previously completed at home. Due to time constraints and demand we have to keep a tight schedule. Parking can be a bit tricky during peak hours so be sure to arrive early. Your tour begins at your designated tour time.
Save some time and fill out your safety waivers ASAP - you'll thank us later. Links to our safety waivers are included in your confirmation email received after booking. All adults must fill out one waiver for themselves. Children who have the same guardian can all be added to ONE youth waiver.
Please call if you think you and your group may be late.

The loss/breaking of a paddle will incur a $50 fee. The loss/breaking of a SUP fin will incur a $20 fee.
