Live Life Outside is excited to announce that our team has moved to a new location on North Shore in downtown Chattanooga! Serving the community from 1st and Market served us well, as we have grown and changed over the years, but we couldn't be more excited about this new space.
Our new storefront address is 131 River Street Drive, located just behind Revelator Coffee Co. on the North Shore. This location includes a rear entrance from Coolidge Park as well, where the most opportune parking can be found. Whether entering via the stairs from our park entrance or the street off of Market Street Bridge, you are greeted by our knowledgable shop reps, happy to get you set up with a rental or purchase.
With our grand re-opening scheduled for May 18th, we are stoked for you to see our new space!

We have drastically expanded our inventory to include more from the brands you love as well as some new brands to keep things exciting. We look forward to remaining your favorite local shop for downtown paddle sport rentals, killer Chattanooga tees, Bote paddle boards, and extensive longboard selection.
Bote Chattanooga is HERE! With our new location's lofty ceilings, we are now able to carry each model and style of Bote boards offered in 2018. We also still carry your favorite SUP accessories, including sunglasses, SPF, hats, PFDs, leashes, paddles, KULAs, Thule racks - everything you need for a great day on the water.
We look forward to continually bringing more to the Chattanooga longboarding scene with brands like Landyachtz, Sector Nine, Loaded and more. With hopes of adding longboarding lessons and several local skill events, we want to help lift up Chattanooga's once booming longboarding scene.
New Rental Options
With the 2018 rental season comes our new and improved rental fleet! Primarily comprised of Bote 2018 HD Aero boards, we will also have Bote's 12' HD Gatorshell models available for rent, as well as many single and tandem kayaks.
We are also excited to premiere our new seamless rental process! The rental process begins when booking online, via phone, or in store. Renters will want to arrive 30 minutes before their scheduled rental time in order to watch a mandatory river safety information video and sign digital safety waivers before heading down to Coolidge Park for gear pickup. Our new digital safety waivers will be held on file for 1 year and can be looked up each time you spend time on the water with us.
With how close we are to the put-in under Market Street Bridge, hourly rentals are now predominately self-serve. Our helpful water gurus will fit you for a proper PFD, paddle and answer any river related questions you may have before you grab gear and head towards launch point for good times on the water.
We look forward to accomodating larger groups - making your time on the water a great experience for birthdays, team building events, church groups, scouts and more.
Grand Re-Opening
L2 is very excited to announce our grand re-opening for Friday, May 18th, 2018. We hope you will come check out the new space and discover what our years of dedication has brought to the North Shore!
We will be offering free one-hour SUP rentals that day from 11am-7pm, with single kayaks and tandem kayaks available at regular pricing.
Our ribbin cutting ceremony with Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce will commence at 4:30pm, with open house celebration to follow from 6-8pm. Enjoy free treats from Frios Pops as you check out Bote's 2018 lineup and discover a new love for the outdoors!
